I'm your new bestie! My mission is to capture best practices and tips to help myself and other nurse graduates succeed in the adult ICU. I began my nursing career as a nurse resident in the ICU from the very beginning and I am so happy about my decision. I have been challenged in many new ways, learn something new every day, and work with fabulous colleagues.

I am a California native but travelled across the country to follow my dreams. Having spent several years preparing for this moment, I decided I wouldn't wait any longer to get my career started. So, I took an opportunity to attend the Accelerated BSN program at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky and LOVED IT! Now, I am working towards building my knowledge and skills.

 

Rather than keeping loads of paper in binders and collecting multiple notebooks, I decided to start this blog. Of course, patient confidentiality is my #1 priority and I will therefore only post general information about nursing skills.
